Camera
In congruence with the fast rate at which the use of video conferencing is going, Apple has chosen to stay tuned with the trend by bringing in great webcam to the Mackbook Pro 2021. The 14-inch MacBook Pro (and its 16-inch sibling) have 1080 webcams, and this improvement in camera has made videos and photos appear clearer and more defined.
Design and Display
The Macbook Pro 2021 features Extreme Dynamic Range and a million to one contrast ratio. The HDR feature also makes photos, video, and games come to life with refined specular highlights, and it brings incredible detail to shadows, and vibrant, true-to-life colours. Each display is factory-calibrated and features pro reference modes for HDR color grading, photography, design, and print production.
ProMotion has been introduced to Mac for the first time, improving the responsiveness and fluidity in actions like scrolling through a web page, while also reducing power consumption. With refresh rates of up to 120Hz, the adaptive technology automatically adjusts to match the movement of the content. Apple has also shrunk most of the MacBook Pro’s bezels. Now, they measure a little more than 0.1 inches, down from the 0.5-inch (top) and 0.3-inch (side) bezels of the last three years.

Additionally, standing at the dimension measurement of 12.3 x 8.7 x 0.6 inches and weighing 3.5 pounds, the 14.2-inch MacBook Pro is slightly larger and heavier than the 13-inch MacBook Pro 2020 with M1 (12 x 8.4 x 0.6 inches, 3 pounds). The new MacBook Pros are way brighter, with the 14-inch model emitting up to 487.8 nits.
Keyboard
The Magic Keyboard in the 14-inch MacBook Pro 2021 is extremely comfortable and enables speedy typing. Its 5.1 x 3.1-inch glass Force Touch trackpad is also very accurate and provides smooth scrolling.
Ports
On the left side of the Macbook Pro 2021, you will find the MagSafe charging port. Apple claims that the 14-inch MacBook Pro’s 70Whr battery can last 17 hours of video playback, and 11 hours of wireless web browsing. The 16-inch MacBook Pro has a larger 100Whr battery, which can apparently last 21 hours of video playback and and 14 hours of web browsing.

Price and Availability
The shipment of both the 14-inch and 16-inch Macbook Pros commenced on the 26th of October, 2021. However, the website currently suggests that a new shipment of the MacBook Pro will not arrive until the 12th of November at the very earliest. The $1999 14-inch MacBook Pro comes with an 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU and 16GB unified memory (RAM). Then there is the $2499 model with a 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU and the same 16GB memory. These can, of course, be customised further. If you want the M1 Max, you will be charged an extra $500.
For the 16-inch model, the base model starts at $2499 with a 10-core M1 Pro with 16-core GPU and 16GB memory. But you have to pay $3499 to get the M1 Max with a 10-core CPU and 32-core GPU along with 32GB memory.
