The launch of the Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro+ is drawing near, as some of its key specifications have begun to surface online. There has, however, been no official confirmation from Xiaomi in regard to the launch date, price, or complete specifications of its Redmi flagship smartphone. However, there are a lot of rumours about the phone’s features. Redmi K50 Pro+ is said to be a part of the Redmi K50 series that will comprise the vanilla Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+.
According to reports, Xiaomi aims to pack a whole lot of impressive hardware within the Redmi K50 Pro Plus. Supposedly, the handset will feature the Snapdragon 898, a 108 MP camera, 120 W charging and a 5,000 mAh battery. It is also rumoured to feature a periscope camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Rumours previously had it that there would be an early release of the Redmi K50 series. Some rumours futher pointed out that it would be released late 2021. However, that no longer seems feasible. After all, Qualcomm is likely to release its new Snapdragon 898 SoC in December.
If the difficulties that the company needs to surmount to get a good amount of chips ready for smartphone makers is considered, then it is almost impossible to expect a new smartphone with it in December. As a result, the Redmi K50 Pro+ and the other smartphones in the series should probably land sometime at the beginning of 2022. The phone is rumoured to come at the price of roughly $568.
