Samsung retained its Full HD+ AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate at all models. Another noticeable upgrade on Samsung’s latest smartphone lineup is the massive camera bump. The big difference in the S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra is pushed to the cameras. Firstly, the featured camera on the S20 and S20+ is quite the same apart from the added DepthVision sensor on the S20+, thereby making it a Quad camera set-up.

The main cameras are similar to each other – a 12-MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 64-MP telephoto lens (f/2.0), 12-MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a DepthVision sensor on the S20+. Nevertheless, the two phones have a similar 10 MP, (f/2.2) selfie camera. Overall, these cameras performed greatly, although the telephoto lens isn’t as crisp at ×10 zoom as that of Galaxy S20 Ultra.
On the Galaxy S20 Ultra, we see a complete overhaul camera set-up. The only similarity is the 12-MP ultra-wide lens. The Galaxy S20 Ultra sports a 108-MP (f/1.8) wide-angle sensor, coupled with 48-MP (f/3.5) telephoto lens, 12-MP (f/2.2) Ultra-wide sensor, and DepthVision Sensor. The selfie camera is well handled by a 40 MP, (f/2.2) front camera. The S20 Ultra battery looks to have the biggest battery, but the demand for battery is extremely high especially when browsing, or using the camera. The S20 and S20+ seems to be better in this segment. Unfortunately, it was revealed that 5G phones are notoriously power-hungry so you won’t expect a longer battery life compared to 4G compatible devices that have the same battery capacities.

Just like on S10s, Samsung will bundle a pair of Galaxy Buds+ on each of the devices for customers who pre-order from their official store.
