TECNO finally made the long-awaited announcement in the early hours of today, which was accompanied by a 43-second video revealing British-Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress, Tiwa Savage, as their newest brand ambassador.

The wait is finally over! After days of countdown, TECNO Mobile has finally unveiled its newest addition to the family. For the past few days, the renowned mobile brand Tecno has been dropping hints on all its social media platforms, confirming the rumors that another brand ambassador was underway.
This is coming right after the global launch of the TECNO Camon 19 series, the release of the now popular Spark 9 series, and the big news of Fireboy as TECNO’s new ambassador, an announcement which initially blazed the exciting trail. With everything going on, it seems TECNO has decided to put a lot into keeping their fans glued to their pages.
The countdown was initiated after TECNO began uploading teaser content on all its social media platforms, signifying that another new icon would be joining the TECNO team.

This then led to a wave of guesses by the audience. Different speculations poured in from all TECNO fans, ranging from Tems, to Ayra Starr, Tiwa Savage and Simi, among others.
These guesses surfaced as a result of the subtle hints that the smartphone brand left with each anticipatory post. Its first post on the then mysterious icon came with the words ‘Double T’ and ‘WAIT’ boldly inscribed on the image, which gave a lot of viewers the impression that the update was referring to the newly launched TECNO Camon 19.
However, TECNO’s subsequent update, which included a feminine silhouette, suggested that TECNO was about to bring in a new member who would be a female personality with an ‘S’ present in her name.
