Infinix Mobile, one of the world’s best mid-range smartphone technocrats has once again offered us a new handset in its Note series. The Infinix Note 10 Pro was officially announced on May 12, 2021, and has already generated a lot of speculations among their fans.
However, we found out that the Infinix Note 10 Pro offers almost the same features as the former Note 8 apart from minor upgrades. This seems to be a form of a downgrade as we expected to have the best latest smartphone features on the Note 10 Pro.
Undoubtedly, the smartphone is packaged with outstanding flagship-like features that include a 6.95-inch IPS display, 90Hz refresh rate, 64MP primary camera, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage, and 5000mAh battery capacity. Amazingly, this is the first Infinix smartphone to feature the latest Android 11 operating system and it comes with XOS 7.6 interface on top.

Design and Display
The latest Infinix Note 10 Pro comes with nice flagship-like aesthetics. There are multiple color options of Black, Purple, and Nordic Secret that adds to the fine design of the phone. There’s no doubt this is a large device with dimensions of 172.8 x 78.3 x 7.8 mm. This paves way for comfy handling especially to the advantage of those with large palms.
There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that easily unlocks the phone within a second. Fortunately, you can choose to use the face unlock feature as your second security option which captures your face in the blink of an eye.
Turning over to the front panel, you’ll notice a 6.95-inch FHD+ (1080 × 2460 pixels) IPS display that does perfectly well. Fortunately, there’s a 90Hz refresh rate that makes swiping through the screen smooth. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best and biggest display we’ve seen on an Infinix smartphone, and it does well by showing vivid, well accurate, and natural color photos. Also, the Infinix Note 10 Pro’s display is good for playing games, watching movies, or strolling through the web browser.
Cameras
One of the best features of the Infinix Note 10 Pro comes in its cameras. Infinix equipped the handset with a quad-camera set-up on the rear and one upfront. The rectangular camera module on the rear houses the 64-MP primary shooter, alongside an 8-MP ultra-wide sensor, 2-MP depth sensor, and another 2-MP monochrome lens.
The Infinix Note 10 Pro’s cameras performs perfectly in daylight and photos are shot with lots of details and natural colors. Meanwhile, there’s an Ultra-Night Vision mode that optimizes any photo taken in lowlight scenarios by adjusting the brightness and enhancing clarity. However, lowlight shots are not as perfect as we expected as most of them comes with noise at the edges.
Turning over to the front, you’ll notice a dot-hole notch that houses the 16-MP AI selfie camera. The Note 10 Pro’s front camera can take crystal-clear photos in well-lighted environment and comes with a lot of customizable options.
Processor, Storage, and Software
The Infinix Note 10 Pro is the first smartphone from the Transsion Holding sub-brand to come with a well-enhanced and sophisticated MediaTek Helio G95 chip. This is an excellent and far more better gaming processor as opposed to Helio G80 on Infinix Note 8. Fortunately, high-demand users and gamers can efficiently use the handset without worrying about any lagging issue. However, when the smartphone is pushed beyond its limit, it’ll heat up and you’ll experience some stutter.
As of storage, the Infinix Note 10 Pro internal storage memory has been significantly upgraded. Unlike the Note 8, you can choose to go for the basic 6GB + 64GB model or the bigger 8GB of RAM and 128GB variant. However, there’s a bigger storage option with the same RAM but a higher storage option of 256GB. Unfortunately, this variant won’t be available depending on your location.
Amazingly, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is among the first phones to feature the newest Google Android 11 OS with XOS 7.6 overlay. Fortunately, you can easily customize some tweaks and settings that come with the new Android 11.

Battery Capacity
The Infinix Note 10 Pro is powered by a moderate 5000mAh battery cell that’s enough to get all your works done. However, this is regarded as a degraded battery since the Note 8 feature a bigger battery capacity of 5200mAh.
Fortunately, there’s a 33W fast charger in the box that powers your phone faster than a normal charger. You can comfortably power the Note 10 Pro from zero to 100% within 2 hours.
