Oukitel C21: Design and Build-up
At first glance, you’ll easily notice that the C21 is made from a quality polycarbonate material that will last longer. Despite the absence of glass back like Samsung phones, the Oukitel C21 is well built with minimal smudges. Meanwhile, the device is very comfortable to hold with one hand measuring 157.3 x 75.5 x 8.75 mm with a net weight of 170g.
On the connection side, the C21 is equipped with the power button and volume rockers on the right, while the opposite side is home for dual SIM cards and SDcard. At the bottom reside the speaker grill and USB-C charging port. Unfortunately, there’s no headphone jack just like in recent Samsung and Apple smartphones making you rely only on wireless headphones or AirPod.
Unlike other smartphones, the Oukitel C21 fingerprint sensor is positioned inside the rear camera module as you can see in the photo. This is very comfortable to reach and turned out to be very accurate, but ultimately reactive. The Oukitel C21 comes in only Blue, Purple, and Black color options.
Also, there’s a presence of a facial unlock system which you can activate from the phone menu. This just like other smartphones are not always reliable and safe as many of us will expect. Therefore, it’s better to use the fingerprint scanner as it’s very reliable and fast to respond.
Oukitel C21: Display
Upfront, the C21 sports a punch hole on the left side of the screen that houses the 20-MP selfie camera. The Oukitel C21 proposes a 6.4-inches IPS LCD display with 2310 x 1080 pixels resolution showing at 450 nits of brightness and 398PPI density. From all indications, the C21 display panel is more than satisfied with its minimal bezels.
Meanwhile, the IPS panel is not the best when compared to OLED screens but it’s still among the best you can find for this price segment. However, the Oukitel C21 display is not easy to see contents when in direct sunlight.

Oukitel C21: Camera Review
The Oukitel C21 on the back offers a quad-camera set-up of 16MP + 2MP + 2MP + 2MP along with a LED flash. Unfortunately, there’s no wide-angle sensor that’ll assist the main lens. Meanwhile, the other cameras are responsible for calculating the macros and depth of field.
Fortunately, the photography quality of C21 performs excellently in optimal light conditions. The 16-MP main camera offers you well-detailed and calibrated photos. On the video side, the C21 can shoot 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
With a 20-MP selfie camera housed inside the punch hole notch, photos taken with the C21 front camera is nothing but satisfactory and turns out to be the best you’ll find on any smartphone of this price segment. There’s also a beauty mode that makes the skin of the subject smoother than normal. Beyond this, the Oukitel C21 selfie camera is good and will bring out stunning photos for social media flexing.
Oukitel C21: Hardware Performance and Software
Under the hood, the C21 runs on MediaTek Helio P60 chipset which brings out solid performance on board. The octa-core processor is built on 12nm process technology clocking at 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53. The graphics are well handled by Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
Above all, the Oukitel C21 does not disappoint when it comes to performance. Given the sale price, we expect the C21 to hang a little but what we saw was contrary to our expectations. In daily use, the C21 performs quite well in all applications it was tasted with even in the gaming phase. We were able to taste the C21 with Call of Duty Mobile and the device didn’t experience any slow down much to our surprise.
Onboard, the Oukitel C21 ships in Android 10 OS in-stock version with security patches. Of course, the smartphone is equipped with the necessary Google applications with many customizable options. Meanwhile, the app icons have been customized to a minimum, having the same interface as a stock Android.
Oukitel C21: Battery Capacity
The Oukitel C21 is equipped with a 4000mAh battery cell that lasted for 48 hours on average use. Inside the box is a 18W fast charger that’ll fasten the charging duration of the smartphone. The Oukitel C21 battery will suit all kinds of users as it’ll give you long active battery life for all your office and home works.
Oukitel C21: Price in Nigeria and Availability
Despite missing out on a headphone jack, the Oukitel C21 still manages to impress us with its amazing specs that are too big for this price. The Oukitel C21 costs ₦55,000 ($139) in Nigeria. This brought us to a real low-cost smartphone with everything anyone needs in a smartphone. You can buy any of the C21 models on any leading gadgets market or store in Nigeria.
