iTel A37: Design and Display
The iTel A37 features a very attractive design with a plastic finish at the rear and glass upfront. It features a teardrop notch with thick black bezels on the chin. If you’re familiar with iTel smartphones, you’ll easily notice that the A37 aesthetics isn’t far from the brand’s design style.
The iTel A37 features unique aesthetics that iTel tagged as Ribbon design and it comes in triple excellent colors of Gradient Green, Dark Blue, and Light Purple. Unfortunately, there’s no fingerprint support which makes you rely only on the Face-unlock support for security.
When it comes to connection ports, the iTel A37 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and speaker grills, all perfectly positioned on the down edge. The power button and volume rockers are housed in the right corner, while the SIM card tray and SDcard slot occupy the left side.
On the display side, the iTel A37 comes with a 5.7-inch teardrop full-screen display showing at 720 x 1520 pixels resolutions. Also, it has a screen-to-body ratio of 81.1% and 282 PPI density. This is a pretty large device with a decent display that’ll give you a pleasant virtual experience. Also, the iTel A37 has a color rendering effect that makes the contents appear more real and vivid.
iTel A37: Camera, Processor, Software, and Battery Capacity
The iTel A37 comes with a triple camera arrangement consisting of one up front and two on the rear. The device has a single selfie camera of 5-MP housed in the notch up front, while a pair of 5-MP and 0.3-MP sensors, alongside a LED flash, are positioned on the rear.
Unfortunately, iTel has failed to improve on the processor side, meaning you’re getting the same Spreadtrum SC7731E chipset, paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage that’s on its predecessors. Also, the performance hasn’t been improved which limits you to only simple tasks and games.
The iTel A37 runs on stock Android 10 (Go Edition) and is powered by a 3020mAh battery capacity. However, there’s no fast charging support available which means you’ll spend more time charging the device.
iTel A37: Price in Nigeria and Availability
Undoubtedly, the iTel A37 is one of the cheapest devices you’ll see in the market today. The device was officially launched on March 9, 2021, and you can easily purchase it on jumia, jiji, and other reputable online and offline phone outlets in Nigeria.
The iTel A37 Price starts at ₦30,000 (about $78) for the 1GB of RAM and 16GB storage variant. Unfortunately, this is the only available storage variant of the phone, but you can choose to increase the size (up to 32GB) via SDcard.
