iTel S15: Design and Display
The iTel S15 comes with a plastic body that is very compact with a thickness of 8.9mm and 153g of weight. Despite being a low-cost device, the iTel S15 features a noticeable waterdrop notch cutout to meet up with the latest trend of modern smartphones. This design is one of the best from iTel over a long period as they’re now embracing a decent design outlook that can compete with the likes of Tecno and Infinix. The iTel S15 can be bought in Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, and Deep Grey color options.
On the rear panel of the S15 is a dual-camera set-up coupled with a LED flash and a fingerprint sensor behind it. Slightly below the biometric scanner is the “iTel” branding logo. The dual-SIM and SDcard slots are well positioned on the rear, contrary to what’s found on modern smartphones.
The iTel S15 features a big display and impressive resolution that’ll perfectly suit a smartphone of this price segment. The iTel S15 display approximately measures 6.1-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, working at a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 282PPI density, and 81.2% screen-to-body ratio.

However, the camera performance on the iTel S15 is something I won’t like to talk about, but it’s a nice upgrade from iTel other smartphones. When comparing these camera qualities with other iTel smartphones you’ll see great improvements, and it shows iTel has stepped up from their game by adding quite nice performing camera specs on the S15.
The iTel S15 comes with a dual-camera set-up on the rear consisting of an 8-MP primary shooter supported by a 0.8-MP lens, and a LED flash. This dual-camera lets you take your favorite photos in Panorama, HDR, Digital Zoom, Auto-focus, Geotagging, and Beauty Mode. You can also shoot 720p videos @30fps with this S15 dual camera.
Selfies are well taken care of by the 16-MP front camera that’s housed on the waterdrop notch cutout. This selfie camera also allows you to take Face Beauty, and HDR mode, and also to shoot 720p videos @30fps.

iTel S15: Performance, Software, and Battery Capacity
The iTel S15 is powered by a Spreadtrum Unisoc SC7731E chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. This processor is paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded (up to 128GB) via a dedicated SD card. The graphics are well handled by the ARM Mali T820 MP1 GPU.
Unfortunately, the iTel S15 processor is below average and can handle tasks normally. You’ll sometimes experience hanging or lagging while using the phone, although there’s a little upgrade when compared to iTel other smartphones. This was done by iTel to keep the phone on a cheap price segment. If you want a fast-performing smartphone, you can opt for iTel S16 or other iTel smartphones. The iTel S15 runs on Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) OS on top of iTel’s user interface.
On the battery side, the iTel S16 is powered by a 3000mAh removable battery. Unfortunately, there’s no form of fast charging mechanism, so you’ll have to rely on normal charging to fully power your device.
