The iTel S17 and s17 Pro have not been released to the market yet. According to iTel Nigeria, iTel S17 and other iTel products was announced at the iTel online launch event that happened on the 8th October 2021.
The iTel company has unveiled yet another pocket-friendly smartphone. Unlike the iTel A26 which also came at a fair price but was unveiled in India, the iTel S17 was unveiled in Nigeria. iTel S17 is the direct successor to the S16 smartphone which was launched back in 2020.
Unlike the previous model which held a 6.5-inch display size, the new iTel S17 comes in the display size of 6.6 inches. The iTel S17 comes with a large notch display, a triple camera setup, and a large 5,000mAh battery. The device comes in the three colour options of Sky Blue, Multicolor Green, and Deep-Ocean Black.

The iTel S17 was designed with a polycarbonate body which features a dew-drop notch panel. It has a 6.6-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution. Along with a 6.6-inch HD+ Waterdrop FullScreen display, there are several more desirable functions held in the fashionable, sleek, and fully designed unibody.

Processor Specification
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731E along with ARM Mali T820 MP1. The smartphone runs on Android 11 Go Edition and has iTel’s custom skin. It also comes with a few pre-installed applications.
Battery Life
iTel has thankfully increased the battery capacity of the iTel S16’s successor. Instead of the old 4000 mAh of the iTel S16, the device holds a 5,000mAh battery with a standard charging speed. The AI Power Master, along with the 5000mAh battery, powers the smartphone and helps to provide a 27-day standby time, 39 hours of normal use, and 8-10 hours of music and videos.

The iTel S17 comes at the starting price of N45,000 ($110), but this is for the only configuration with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
