Apple iPhone 12, Apple iPhone 12 Pro and Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max; Everything you need to know about Apple’s Latest iPhone: Their Specs, and Prices in Nigeria

The anticipated annual review of the Apple iPhone series is always a phenomenon event in today’s world of tech. It’s a smart device everyone desires to own, one that sets the lead while others follow. Annually, Apple holds it’s iPhone series event on every second week of September. However, this year’s own seems to be a different — thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. The iPhone 12 models are now being released at the Apple event of October, while the sales will begin 2 weeks afterward.

However, Apple does hold an event on 15 September, but that seems to focus on the release of Apple Watch SE, iPad Air 4, Apple Watch 6, a new iPad edition, and the launch of a new fitness app called Apple Fitness+.

For the first time ever, there should be four series of the iPhone 12 models. The iPhone 12 is expected to be joined by the other three phones. From some Apple insights, they’re rumored to be iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, making it a total of four iPhone 12 series.

As usual, we’re expecting something new from Apple. During the September 15 event, Apple showcased a highlight on what the iPhone 12 phone series would look like. The recent breakthrough of the 5G network seems to be the latest technology integrated into new smartphones. The Apple iPhone 12 is no exception as the Apple latest device would be rolling out on 5G networks. As usual, we would be expecting something tinier from Apple. New screen size has also been introduced, starting from 5.4-inch, and topping at 6.7-inch. A new upgrade in power has also been introduced. Just like I earlier mentioned, we would be expecting something new from Apple. A larger battery capacity that starts from 4,000 mAh would be expected on the iPhone 12 series. Other upgrades include bigger camera changes, more color options, and a new design overall.

Operating System: iOs v14.0 | Display Type: OLED Touchscreen display | Size: 6.06-inch | GPU: Apple GPU (four-core graphics) | Processors: Hexa 2.65 GHz Dual Core | RAM: 6GB RAM | Internal memory: 128GB / 256GB / 512GB | Front Camera: 13MP | Rear Camera: 13MP + 13MP + 13MP | Network: 5G | Battery: 4440 mAh | Price in Nigeria: N422,000-N550,000

So far, one of the biggest anticipations about the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is the design. Apple didn’t fail us on this aspect as the iPhone 12 Pro has a screen resolution of 1125 x 2436, and 2778×1824 pixels respectively. Apple also added Blue pastel and green colors into its color lineup. However, we expected the removal of a notch on the phone’s display like Samsung is now doing on their latest devices, but Apple still features that notch design on the iPhone 12 series. However, the notch seems to be smaller than it was on the iPhone 11 series. This should be great news for never-notchers.

The camera seems to be what everyone is anticipated about on this iPhone 12 Pro. On the Selfie camera, Apple integrated a 13MP, and on the rear, you’ll see a triple eye 13MP + 13MP + 13MP camera, with a LED  flashlight. However, the inclusion of the LiDAR sensor will only be available on the Pro Max models. I know this will be upset to buyers who want the smaller form factor of iPhone 12 Pro, but still wants the best of features.

As rumored, we would be expecting the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max to use the latest A14 chipset, which sounds to be true after Apple debuted it on its latest iPad Air 2020. Amazingly, the new processor will be greater than Snapdragon 865, the processor we’ve seen in all top-notch Android devices 2020.

The RAM memory also gets a boast, getting up from their predecessor’s 4GB to 6GB RAM. I know you would love to have bigger storage capacity. A leak from Prosser showed us the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will apparently come with a whopping 128GB, 256GB and 512GB internal storage. This would be very good news for everyone, although there would be no SD card slot, it will be more than enough for your numerous apps and files.

As per tradition with Apple iPhone models, we won’t be expecting something cheaper this time around. It’s rumored that the iPhone 12 Pro series will sell at a starting price of N422,000 ($1100). The launch might take place in the second week of October, but the sales might begin in November or next year instead as report leaks suggested.

iPhone 12 Pro Max full Specifications:

However, it seems the iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with the same RAM, Storage, and display as the iPhone 12 Pro, but only with a bigger 6.7-inch OLED display, 4 LED cameras, and a 2778×1824-pixels resolution, at a 120 GHz refresh rate.

As suggested, the starting price should be around N597,000, and it’s sales it’s expected to kick off alongside the iPhone 12 Pro models.
